Many school districts need to "step it up" and become aggressive with technology. Today's students enter school more technologically advanced than teachers, and it's time for school districts to step into the 21st century. Teachers as learners need to play catch up with their students in order to tap into their own creativity and the creativity and innovations that students have to offer.

I agree! Very often we, as teacher can learn from our students. They are the digital natives. We are the digital immigrants. We need to learn there language and skills.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to describe the differences and balance between the generations and their use of technology. Digital natives and immigrants -- I'm going to carry that with me for awhile and see what ideas it helps generate for my learning, as well as, how I might use technology in the classroom.
